The FENCE241 is a 15 x 25-meter automated production line for screw assembly of wooden panels up to 2 x 2 meters.<\/p>\n
The installation incorporates 16 automatic screw machines working simultaneously to ensure fast, repeatable production. The FENCE241 comprises infeed conveyors, transport chains, transfer robots, a robotized palletizing cell and a shuttle system for evacuating finished pallets.<\/p>\n
One of the main challenges of this project was to automate a natural material like wood, which can vary in size and characteristics. The machine has therefore been designed to maintain consistent assembly quality while retaining a high degree of production flexibility.<\/p>\n
Operators can configure different panel formats and board sections to suit their manufacturing needs. The FENCE241 also incorporates current industrial technologies such as Profisafe and IO-Link to guarantee safety, diagnostics and reliability.<\/p>\n
