LEAK-235 : Leak tester for heat exchangers

Indutech has designed and produced several control units for a leak-testing station used to check heat exchangers.

This installation enables us to check the integrity of welds and the strength of exchangers by means of pressure tests carried out in a progressive sequence from 3 to 50 bars. The parts to be tested are immersed in a basin of water to visually detect any leaks during the various phases of the cycle.

Thanks to the automation developed by our teams, operators benefit from a simplified, reproducible and secure test procedure. The system automatically manages pressure build-up stages, time delays and test validation conditions.

This achievement enables our customer to improve the reliability of its quality controls, reduce the risk of error and guarantee perfect repeatability of leak tests.
