SAW-236: Planetary saw
We designed and manufactured a planetary saw for a manufacturer of resin shower trays and sinks.
During the manufacturing process, it is necessary to remove the sprues and grind certain areas after the resin has cured. Our machine fully automates this step. Thanks to an ergonomic loading table, the operator positions the workpiece in the work area, then starts the sawing cycle. The machine then automatically executes the programmed paths with precision and repeatability.
One of the main challenges of this project was the particularly dusty environment generated by resin machining. Particular attention has been paid to the protection of mechanical and electrical components, and to the efficiency of the extraction system.
We have also developed a comprehensive programming interface that enables users to easily create, modify and optimize sawing programs. This flexibility enables customers to quickly integrate new product references without the need for our team to intervene.
