TRIM-234: Trimming table

This workstation has been developed to assist operators in finishing operations on Nomex honeycomb aeronautical parts.

The large, geometrically complex parts are held on a rotating frame, allowing them to be easily oriented throughout the various stages of work. This rotation improves operator ergonomics, enabling them to maintain a comfortable working position when chamfering manually.

Although the automation of this installation is deliberately limited, the challenge lay in designing equipment capable of guaranteeing precise part holding while facilitating finishing operations. In the aerospace sector, the quality of the end result and the repeatability of the process are essential requirements.

This custom-designed workstation contributes to improving operators’ working conditions, while ensuring a level of quality in line with aerospace industry standards.
